| Trekking Agents Association Of Nepal (TAAN) refutes news item |

Recent news item published in the various newspapers regarding the security situation of Annapurna Circuit and return of trekkers from this area has drawn serious attention of Trekking Agents Association of Nepal (TAAN), states a press release issued here today.
The regional chapter of the TAAN in Pokhara said it has found that no trekker has returned so far. However, some trekkers have changed their trekking routes according to their own interest, claims the release. "No untoward incident has been occurred in this area as of now," adds the release. The release also urged all the trekkers and trekking entrepreneurs to continue the trekking plans not being influenced by such baseless news.
